We can work with you in a number of ways:-

In common with many law firms,  our standard basis of charging is by way of an hourly rate.  We offer a range of hourly rates for our services according to the seniority and experience of the fee earner instructed. As a law firm regulated by the SRA,  we adhere to rules and regulations concerning how we charge for our services and you  will always be provided with a written costs estimate before any work is carried out.

Many of our clients prefer to retain our services through a fixed fee annual retainer scheme.  The benefits of this to our clients are as follows:

  • *agreed fixed fees payable monthly or annually
  • *unlimited telephone support for employment related matters from an experienced solicitor
  • *continuity of advice – we do not operate a “call centre” so you will only ever have one or two points of contact dealing with your matter
  • *annual review and updating of contracts, policies and procedures or provision of these documents if they are not  already in existence
  • *regular employment law updates sent electronically at least monthly
  • *12 month contracts with no onerous termination provisions or notice requirements
  • *free places at our regular seminars
  • *discounted rates for in-house training

If you are not looking for a full retained service at the moment then the following services can be provided for an agreed fixed fee and we will consider whether we can work with you  on a fixed fee basis in other matters wherever possible:

  • *review of contracts, consultancy agreements, policies and procedures
  • *updating contracts, consultancy agreements, policies and procedures
  • *provision of contracts,  consultancy agreements, company handbooks, policies and procedures
  • *drafting settlement agreements
  • *advice on post termination restrictive covenants
  • *in house training
